ACPS Spam About Verdict

Anonymous
What the actual f**k?

Two hours after a verdict in Minn. is reached, ACPS decides it's imperative to send out an email out with their thoughts on the matter, but they ignored literally thousands of emails about kids returning to school for the last 6 months?

Is Hutchings in the education business at all?

What an embarrassment to the city.

I disagree with you, but for the record I disagree with 99.9999% of everything else Hutchings has done. I'm pretty sure every organization/company/entity will likely be putting out statements as well. Sadly, it is now necessary to constantly state displeasure at the despicable state of affairs in our country. Would definitely be amazing to live in a country where unarmed citizens aren't in constant danger of being killed for no reason.

Because it's historic and therefore educational, OP. It's part of the story arc of the USA and is of much greater import than the flu pandemic of 1918 or the covid pandemic of 2019. It's surprising this needs to be pointed out to you.

Unless you are one of the very few people in the US who believe there was a miscarriage of justice? Not even right-wing media is spinning that.

Just because you're miffed that your complaints about school reopenings during a pandemic have gone unanswered, doesn't mean the system can't spend a few minutes responding to an event that is inscribed in the larger context of American history.

The death of a violent drug addict is more important than the death of 600,000 innocent Americans?

Okaaaaaaaaaay.

Sending the email out about the verdict is fine. The situation with return to school is a disaster. They are separate issues.

I agree with OP. It's a waste of time and resources, and it's performative virtue signaling, to litter email inboxes with commentary on current social events. I'm thrilled about the verdict. I don't give a rats patootie about the school's commentary.

The CEO of my employer sent out a company-wide email as well. "Performative" is an appropriate term. It seems absurd to me, but so be it.

+1. Email from work along with the one from ACPS.

ACPD isn't pleased with the email, I can tell you that.

Funny that you care more about a black, drug addicted, rapist than you do about thousands of brown children. I hope you get it one day.

Is he the one who sent his own kids to private school?

They did it over here in California too. It’s ridiculous. How about we keep politics out of the schools and actually educate kids instead??
