I do not know if there are many SAC parents in this forum, but SAC just released their list of coaches for next year:

| I'm sure within the first 8 posts on this thread, half will talk badly about one or more of them. Seems par for the course on DCUM. |
| We have a U-little boy at SAC. We have been pretty happy with the team and the coach so far. YMMV |
| Checking the coaching list brings back so many memories. Thanks for posting! |
| Not many accomplished coaches from our experience at SAC, but their Baltimore Armour MLS Next teams have some fantastic coaches as the kids get older. |
| Consistently outstanding top teams on the boys side. They like them big and fast but try to play the right way and usually succeed. |
They have had consistently good teams because SAC was a pathway to the only DA in the area with Baltimore Armour. |
Sorry; meant former DA. They are MLS Next now. Not sure if SAC can maintain that pathway now but maybe. |
Yep; my guess is that with Pipeline’s departure to MLS, SAC becomes an even stronger pipeline to Armour. |
Sorry. Pipeline’s departure to ECNL. |
Agree. SAC will feed more to Armour teams instead of getting some talent from Pipeline as in years past. Some of the top Pipeline kids would move over to Armour when they had a partnership because Pipeline didn't have an avenue for an "elite league" at the older years when it matters more. We knew some kids that made the move from Pipeline to SAC while a couple went to Celtic for a higher league. Now that Pipeline has ECNL they will retain that talent and probably pull in some other talent from the area that would have gone elsewhere, but honestly, who really knows. SAC is such a huge organization that they don't lack for kids coming up from their younger teams so they will probably be fine too. I've just heard from people who have kids there that they don't really seem to care as much on developing in the younger ages until about u12/u13 when the top teams become Armour teams. I think SAC just had it easy with being the primary DA in the area so they figured talent would come by u13 for the DA badge eventually. Maybe that still happens with MLS Next, but again, who knows. |
