George Mason Forest?

We are looking at houses and are wondering if anyone knows anything about this neighborhood in Fairfax (right near GMU) off of Braddock Rd.? Are there young families? Is there a nice sense of community? TIA.

I think this is a lovely community. I often wish I had bought my house in this development instead of a few developments away, where I did buy.

I sent my child to Green Acres to preschool over there (Main St. Child Development Center which was awesome) and when I would go over there, I always saw lots of kids playing outside. The homes are well maintained. And I think it's in the city of Fairfax which has lower taxes and better services than the rest of Fairfax. Parks and Recs has a presence in the Green Acres building too, for ballet, judo, arts classes, etc.

I'm jealous!

15:25, do you mind saying what nearby development you did buy into?

I do mind.... I wish that because, my soon to be ex husband had a thing with the neighbor lady Nothing wrong with the area.
