Did you have a 6 week sonogram, and did you see the heartbeat at it?

We are having our 6 week sonogram next week at 6.5 weeks. We are really hoping to see the hb, but understand some folks do not. Did you have one, and did you see the hb?

I had one at 6w1d, and we did see the HB.

just had one yesterday, 6weeks 4 days, and saw/heard the heartbeat. Didn't realize they were done so early- I had to do it because of some potential complications but found out all was well. Felt like I was cheating getting to see it so early, but boy oh boy was it awesome!

I had a sonogram at 5 weeks (OB thought I was farther along). We saw absolutely nothing which was weird and kind of scary. At eight weeks, we saw and heard her. Of course, she looked like something you might dip in cocktail sauce. Now at almost twenty weeks, she is much cuter.

If you can, replace any anxiety with excitement. The chances of everything working out well is a lot higher than the reverse. Enjoy your pregnancy and congrats!

Hi - I had one at 6 w and did not see the heartbeat. We did another one at 8 w and saw it then. Congrats!

We had a sono at 6w2d and did not see the heartbeat. I was sure of the dates because we were temping/charting. I am now 40w4d with a heathly baby girl - if only she would just come out already!

Had a sono at 6w 4d and saw a heartbeat. But not everyone does. Good luck to you!

OP here. We had the 6.5 week ultrasound, and we saw the heartbeat. Everything looked great. Thanks for the input folks.
