| Hi there, does anyone know of any dealers or places locally to sell a Landrover Defender. I know the online places, but was wondering about any local niche dealers? Thanks in advance. |
Whoops! I can 'see' one at my own house, I meant SELL one. |
| Call Independent in North Bethesda. They used to be right there on the corner across from Safeway on Bradley. They recently moved up toward Rockville. |
| Website is indlr.com. |
| Year? Model? |

Just sell it yourself. Craigslist.
I’ll buy it from you. |

110 LH Drive Thanks for the info, I will call the people in Bethesda. Failing that - Craig’s list. Selling on behalf of hubby so clearly have no idea what I am doing. Thanks! |

Is it in good condition? What I mean is, do you know if a car enthusiast would be interested in it. If so, Bring A Trailer is another good way to go:

+1 There is definitely a niche for that car OP. Tell us about it. |

Here's an option to consign it:
https://www.cwclassics.com/consignment But I'd probably just sell myself via CL or other free/nominal fee listing site: https://classics.autotrader.com/ |

Thanks so much for sending the link to CW Classics.
That seems great. Yes the car is in pretty good condition although not pristine like some of them. It has all new leather seats, new headliner and seatbelts etc and was recently painted with a new roof rack. It is a 110, left hand drive, 1987. My husband had quite a bit of work done on it but it it still original in many ways. I am going to consign it - thanks so much. I really appreciate the help. |
| Where are you consigning? What transmission? |
|
I am getting it shipped up to our house tomorrow as we have had it in storage.
Transmission is manual. My husband wants me to put it on Craigs list first, so we will take some photos and try that and if that does not get any interest we will consign it with CW Classics. It is British green with a white roof and a new black roof rack (the one with the ladder) |
| Post a link!!! |
| Love Defenders. My dad use an early 90s one on his farm and that thing is a beast. |
