| Any idea? |
June |
I would bet that it'll be some Friday afternoon in late May. They always give themselves a little bit of cover and usually release significantly earlier than whatever their self-imposed deadline is. |
| May 28th would be a good guess. |
| June 1 |
| Does TJ send acceptance letters to home or publish on website or update application status? |
Can we expect the results in June first week? |
Yes |
| We just got an email saying mid to late June! It was supposed to be by June 1! What a mess they have made of this process. |
| Oh, and there is a grammar error in the email. Embarrassing. |
Our email (5/7/2021) just said this Dear Applicant & Parent, Thank you for your continued interest in Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST). We want to share updated information about the application process and status of decision release. Currently, we are in the evaluation phase of the applications. The final group of applicants were able to complete the Student Portrait Sheet and Problem-Solving Essay a couple of weeks ago. At this time, there is nothing else that you need to complete. Based on our current schedule we anticipate the release of decisions by mid to late June. Prior to the release of decisions, you will receive an email with more information about the decision release along with directions to access your decision and any next steps. If you receive an offer of admission or an offer to remain in the wait pool, you will have a two-week window to return your Intent Decision. For students offered admission, there will be a virtual registration session. You will also be provided a link to information regarding any summer class opportunities that will be available at TJHSST. We want to wish you the best of luck as you finish up your school year. | This is ridiculous. Students need to know before the school year ends. |
So no summer classes for rising TJ 9th graders |
Good. Give them a break. |
Why? |
