Anyone turning down WIS?
Not us. Admitted for preK, very happy. Why do you ask?
Not sure yet--deciding. WIS is a very special program, and we are weighing the merits of WIS against those of another equally good, though, different school.
Wondering if anyone plans to turn them down?
No. Accepted preK French and am thrilled.
Just curious to the poster a few back: which other school are you considering?
Considering GDS.

That's wonderful. Two great choices.. So how does one decide? will you go back and visit?
How are people making these tough but exciting choices? |
It depends a lot on what grade to enter, to me. Entering early to insure language acquisition as a priority (a la Oyster parents and the competition to get in there) that may carry on no matter where they end up for MS or HS. Later entry, for MS or HS --less rigidity in the dual-language, IB program, a worldly focus in a lovely setting, alums/parents ed. not a big priority for admittance, more about the applicants qualifications (refreshing!!).
