I know it is common to have your eyesight change temporarily during pregnancy but it is driving me crazy. I feel like the words are swimming in front of me. How have other people dealt with this?
My options at the moment are wearing an older pair, which is slightly weaker, or my reading glasses, which are a lot weaker. I haven't had my eyes checked to see if they have gotten worse or better but it seems I can read/work better with weaker pairs. |
Have you been checked for preeclampsia? Sometimes high blood pressure or other medical issues can contribute to eye changes. If you haven't already, call your OB. |
That's a good thought but I think this is just the normal vision changes that can happen. I have no edema, low blood pressure, no headaches, etc. I am also just 21 weeks, the very beginning of the period for preeclampsia. I will call my O.B. to discuss, however, because you are right I had not considered it. |
