Midwife/hospital experiences: Karen King at VHC or FHBC at Washington Hospital Center

I had hoped to secure Whitney Pinger as my midwife but, unfortunately, she is unavailable the month I am due. I'm bummed but must come up with an alternative plan.
So now I'm considering other options and am wondering about experiences with Karen King at VHC vs. FHBC practice at Washington Hospital Center. I live in Silver Spring so I'd certainly have more of a commute to VHC, which might be one variable. Can anyone share experiences or recommend one or the other? I am in the process of setting up appointments/consultations with both to get a personal feel for both but would love to hear any insights.
