Sandals for wide feet - help!

Anonymous
I need a nicer pair of sandals that I can pair with casual dresses but I can’t seem to find anything that fits my wide feet except Tory Burch Miller sandals, which I already have a few pairs of. Link below to a pair I tried on at Nordstrom today - this is the type of style I am looking for. The low price was a bonus, lol, I would spend up to $400 ($700 if I could get the Hermès sandals I must after but unlikely they fit my chubby feet). Thanks in advance

I have wide feet too and the brands that generally work best for me are: naturalizer, bandolino, and occasionally aerosoles. Will look and see if I can find examples. The style in your op seems relatively easy to find in almost any brand/store.

Clarks are good for me...

There is no way these would be comfortable for wide feet.

OP, question- are you looking for slides specifically or anything that looks cute with a dress? I am seeing a lot of platform sandals and espadrilles that will work for wider feet on Nordstrom .

I like the look of slides and definitely want a more open style - and prefer flats because I am an absolute klutz!! The ones I tried at Nordstrom were super comfortable, actually, the footbed had a nice bounce. I’ll search the other brands recommended to see if I can find anything - my only fear is styles being too old laddish! I’ll be back

I like Dansko sandals.

Saltwater sandals are good for wide feet. I'd wear them if it weren't for the lack of padding.

Try Korkease Belinda or vionic

Agree. The link surprised me too. Those straps would rupture on my actually-wide feet. I get strappier Birkenstocks like the Yara, Daloa or Papillio.

I would love to get the Oran but something tells me my foot will be too wide to be comfortable. And to be clear for other comments, I don’t have ginormous elephant feet, they are just slightly wider than average and while most styles of shoes fit fine, something around a style of sandal with bands going across the top of the foot seem to not fit as well.

+1. I also have wide feet and, over time, I've learned to evaluate shoes' width on screen. These seem to be regular, maybe, even narrower.
