And what are your standards?
Mine are pretty low, but I'd prefer that people not think we have completely given up |
| None. We have people come to do the landscaping and whatever else. DH is into growing things so he and the kids handle that. |
| We have outsourced lawn care and spring and fall cleanup. Other than that I grow an extensive flower and vegetable garden. I spend a good bit of time setting it up in spring and then spend about an hour every other day puttering about. |
| A lot! And it still looks pretty messy, because I have a lot of plants and several things I like to allow to reseed, which means I don’t do a thick layer of mulch. But in a few weeks it will be glorious, weeds and all. |
| At least 3-4 hours a week. I have high standards and it looks great. Every other year or so we do a huge overhaul of some section of the yard and that takes forever. |
|
3-4 hours a week, but it still becomes a mess. I love our year, but it’s a half acre and a lot of up keep. Still it’s great exercise and good for my mental health. So I would never contract it out.
