Title says it all. Feeling particularly blah today. Body hate creeping in and just sick of being home more often than not still. What do you all like to do to feel pretty. Hoping that will help today

Exercise to break a sweat, hot shower and scrub your body. Towel dry, hair back, lotion your face. Mascara and lipstick. Jeans and a tank top. Huge glass of water and a hunk of chocolate.

Bubble Bath, skincare (face or eye mask), candles, maybe a walk with music or a good friend.

Buy the freshest ingredients and make yourself your favorite meal. Or make a nice tall glass of fresh juice.
Do your roots, hot shower, good skin mask. Go to bed early. You'll be like new tomorrow.

This is pretty close to mine as well. Working out always makes me feel more attractive -- I put on my cutest, most colorful workout clothes too. I also like to do more intensive body care if I'm feeling blah -- I'll do a post-shower oil massage and do extra moisture on knees and elbows, plus pumice and moisturize my feet. If I'm feeling ambitious, I'll paint my toes, too.

Also, while I usually don't blow dry my hair, taking 10 minutes to give myself a proper blow out and run the flat iron through it is a mood boost. It's not even that my hair looks better straight. It's more that the blow out makes it so smooth and shiny and it feels good to run my fingers through it. Plus it will last a few days.

Also, when I'm feeling blah, I like to follow up my self-care routine by heading out for a little pre-dinner cocktail somewhere fun with my family. I know it's shallow, but once I get myself looking good, I like to go out so that I can feel good about my appearance in public. It's a little bit of validation and Covid has made that harder to come by. It's amazing how much better it feels to dress up a bit when you get to go show it off. I wore heels to dinner last night, first time in a year. It felt amazing.

Thanks all. Going to try a combo of these. Maybe a little of that self tanning jergens on my legs too. Remind me of summer.

I do a chin mask, Clarins depuffing mask and Pixi eye gels, and go to the gym. I feel like a goddess after a hard workout.

If you self tan at home, what do you use and what about your face?

I use the L’Oréal sublime bronze wipes but will touch up after that with the Jergens natural glow instant sun mousse to extend it. For my face I use Tanologist drops - you add a few to your moisturizer and it gives a really nice subtle glow that you can control with how many drops you add .

Also listening to some of my favorite upbeat music

I go for a walk, I take a shower, I eat a salad, and I write out what I'll eat the next day.

My face is always a few shades lighter than my skin bc I am vain about sunscreen.
I compensate with bronzer. And when I am working up to my neck I dilute the tanner down with regular lotion so it's not a stark line

A long walk
Tight/hugging black leggings and a loose top
Good coffee, lots of fruit seltzer, healthy foods
Some Netflix bingeing if I can swing it
