My old lady cat is a sharing my bedroom right now, so I’ve moved her litter box in there, too. We use Dr Ellie’s “worlds best” litter but it tracks an insane amount. Not such a big deal in the basement, but gross in a bedroom. Recommendations for litter that is fragrance free and doesn’t track? This cat won’t use Feline Pine or even Tidy Cat Breeze...too set in her ways.
We use that one too. We have a small vacuum in the room with it for that reason.
I use tidy cats naturally strong unscented but I do find it scatters more than other litters I’ve used.
That's the best litter. I wouldn't change without trying some tracking mats just outside the litter box first. See if you can get the litter off her feet with a tacky mat.
They all track, definitely try a large litter mat.
Thanks. Any suggestions for a good litter mat? I tried one with little nubs and my cat would do her best to leap from the box to the hard floor to avoid it. She’s still pretty athletic for a tiny old lady

okokat, sweet scoop or whatever the wheat is. Pretty litter looks nicest but is expensive.
All of those are also very soft and fine and similar to Dr.Elsey's. I like that they are light, too. For smell, add NonScents. I only have issues with smell and scattering when I use clay, though. |
