If you can hop right over the line, Dr. Alan Heller is fabulous. Calm, reasonably priced and does great work. His office is on East West Highway right across from BCC.

Our kids have seen both Dr. Bruno and Dr. Heller. Dr. Bruno is the country club version--beautiful office, unrushed appointment, you might see one other patient and parent in the waiting room. Dr. Heller is way less expensive, the office is not fancy and there usually three patients in chairs at once, with assistants doing some of the prep work. End result is the same.

We liked Dr Gerlein a lot. One thing I’d say is pick someone convenient because there are a bunch of little check in appointments

We went to Heller too; thought it was worth it as it was somewhat less expensive than the options in NW DC.

He was the first ortho to start seriously using invisalyn and originally was 10% of their business.

he is excellent - one child finished orthodontics with him last year and the 2nd child is currently under his care.

Largely agree with this assessment of Dr. Bruno (although she also has lots of assistants working with patients while she circulates). We had a great experience with her, but you pay for all of that overhead. I will note that we never had anything but delightful experiences with her staff; every single person was patient, pleasant, and professional.
