| Is there an "off season" or other time of the year that prices are more competitive? We might be ready for a new vehicle soon, but are not in a rush at all so would be willing to hold off in order to time it right. Is swooping in to get the last of the 2021s when the 2022s start rolling out a reasonable strategy? |
| November, December and January. They say MLK day on average has the best savings out of any day of year. I’ve looked this up as well as I was curious. Spring and early summer (right now) are supposedly the worst times to try to get a deal. But you never know- it all depends on how the economy is doing , supply and demand. If you can wait, you should. |

This year is different. I’ve been to multiple dealerships in the last 2 month and the issue is the chip shortage. Many are not getting any more cars in once they get what is already in the pipeline. Current numbers on the lots are down and choices are starting to get limited. I heard this from several different dealers.
