What is your club telling folks about uniforms for next Fall?
I had lunch yesterday with a friend whose company does soccer uniforms as a bit of a sideline business. They do about 40 clubs mostly in the Midwest. They get the uniforms, socks, bags etc from Nike, Adidas or whoever and put on the team logos, league patches and numbers. He was saying uniform supply is a huge unknown this year due to covid shutdowns combined with demand. They are telling their clubs they will be ASAP but ASAP may be well into the Fall. |
| ours are on a two year cycle mandated by the sponsor/manufacturer. We bought new for this year, so next year stays the same |
| We got new ones this year but it did indeed take a while and they were backordered on some things. |
| Mclean is saying new shirts will incorporate green and orange. I can't wait. |
Ew! Really? Will we have no get new training shirts then too? |

Same. We ordered new for this past fall. Some things were very fast, but other items took much longer than usual. Several players on the team didn’t make ordering uniforms a priority last summer so the team ended up wearing the old kits through half of the fall season, with new players just wearing same color solid t shirts with taped numbers. |
Green and orange could work. Would have to be a custom uniform though. My bet is they'll botch it for sure, Louise will probably try to do it herself. |
| Not sure about Nike, but Adidas will take longer than usual but but they say by early August latest. Most of the inventory is already in their warehouses in Portland and South Carolina. Later delayed orders will be estimated for early August. Coming from an Adidas rep I know. |
| The Nike sweatshops in Malaysia will be fine. Those child workers never got a break from Covid. So order Nike and you'll be fine. |
