Have there ever been an mergers between MD and VA clubs ?

It wasn;t a merger - but Bethesda did run "Bethesda South" for a while. I think it was based in or near Reston although I'm not certain.

the answer is no. most likely because of the geography (crossing 495) and the high school seasons in VA and MD are different times of the year.

Some clubs have "agreements" like Metro United funneling players for GAL from potomac and stoddert but this is no where near a merger.

But this does happen. There are absolutely kids from MD playing for VA clubs. I don't know if the opposite is true.

I have never encountered an FCV dad whose armpits smell like onions. Maybe Loudoun?

Would you ever see Team America and FCI soccer academy merger ? both do a great job serving the latin community in both Fairfax and Prince Georges county.
