They were commenting on each other's recent posts. And did you know that America often scares Big Sass as he is, in fact, a black man. Has he ever been anywhere else?

It's very obviously not a genuine relationship. Seems like there was some mutual smitten-ness but it always seemed very one-sided to me, i.e. she being very present on his socials and he absent on hers. I think it's some weird face-saving thing. They started out so super public - obvi her idea - so something has to be said but there should be an adult, amicable parting of the ways, promising they'll still get together for fries and flavored creamer.

I am Jen's age and I am not single but I imagine there is something terrifying about being single at this age. I also think BH's obvious moving on has caused her to weirdly settle here.

Jen Hatmaker can do better than this. It's so cringe to watch her like this.

Off topic but does anyone follow Mary Katherine Backstrom? She's a former Christian mommy blogger who is getting divorced and deconstructing, which seems to be the thing that former Christian mommy bloggers do.

She schilled Jen's cookbook but doesn't seem to be otherwise aligned with JH. Someone described her to me as a "Less annoying Christian mom blogger" but I think she's super whiney and sort of dumb.

lol i follow her on FB. She does a lot of cringy lives. She seems more willing to walk the policitical and "social justice warrior" hardline than Jen. They're annoying in different ways

What’s weird is she commented on both his FB and his IG with that remark and he commented pretty much the same. Nothing says staged and fake like, “Let me make sure I comment on all his social platforms for engagement!” Her comment and his response is so cringey.

Looking forward to his video with his eyes reflecting his ring light while he cries crocodile tears and tells us we have to pull together as a country while somehow making himself the victim of all of this. As predictable as her me camp content is, his content is just as predictable.

Here’s how I imagine her post came to life:
Sis: “It’s been 24 hours! I have to say SOMETHING! My people are waiting for me! How are these poor women supposed to know what to think about this if you don’t tell me what to tell them to think!?”
Publicist: “Ok, we’ve seen some responses and watched the metrics. Glennon hasn’t posted yet, but we’re going to go with: ‘There are fine people on both sides.’”
Sis: “WHAT?!”
Publicist: “Just go with it, and copy and paste these quotes I found that got good reviews.”
Sis: “You’re the boss.”

Most likely, the majority of people who still follow Jen are white middle class progressive women, and progressives generally don't seem to believe there are good people who are not progressives, so it's no surprise she's catching hell for suggesting anything of the sort.
