First time SFH owner here:
We want to plant around 10 small bushes to create a privacy hedge in the future, plus cutting off a small unhealthy tree and plant a 5 ft Japanese maple on the same spot, clean and mulch the front and back flower bed, trim some low and medium mature bushes, as well as seeding some 0.1 acre damaged lawn. The total property is about half acre. I got a quote of $1360 from a landscaper for all the above jobs. It covers top soil, mulch and seeds. I bought plants. Is it a reasonable price? Thank you! |
| Sounds about right. |
Thank you! |
| Op, this is a great price. Can we get the name and number of your person? |
|
I paid that for mulching and 4 shrub installation. So, you got a g
reat price. |
| To all the above- do you tip the crew? Or is that covered in the fee? |
| Price sounds extremely fair. I never tip the landscapers. If it is an all day job, I put out cold drinks. |
| Price is fair. We paid 1500 for mulching (.25 acre) and cleaning flower beds (4) |
Same! |
You should tip them. |
| Yes, good price! |
OP can you share your landscaper's contact? Thanks |
Damn I paid $750 for mulching a half acre and full spring cleanup.. |
Whom did you use? |
That is ridiculous. I seldom see mine. They show up whenever and leave when finish. When not covid we're out of the house working when they come by. If the owner needs more money, he needs to increase the cost in the contract. |
