Any feedback re: Little Folks Preschool in Georgetown?? Also looking at NCRC and Friends School in Kalorama/Dupont as well as St,. Johns? in Georgetown? We are new to the area...so have nothing to go on. |
NCRC and School for Friends are excellent (both my kids went to SFF). Not sure about the others, but you should check the archives; there've been lots of posts on pre-schools. |
St John's was one of the first Reggio Emilia schools in the area, supposed to be very good and very hard to get into if you're not in the parish.
SFF also seems like a very good school, but again it's very hard to get in. We applied last year and were only told after they had taken our $100 that there were no spots left in our age groups because there were so many siblings (and at the time, at least, they guaranteed admission to all siblings). Might also look at the DC JCC. Has recently adopted a Reggio Emlilia approach. Some people love it; some people hate it. Check out the thread on the old version of the forum. |
You probably already know this, but just in case...NCRC is not in Dupont or Georgetown; it's in Cleveland Park. |
