Potomac WL for 1st?

Hi - we were rejected by Potomac for first and though I am starting to let go (sort of......) I am curious as to whether they waitlist anyone for first or if is a straight yes or no? BTW Potomac sends the lovliest rejection letter you can imagine. No good reason for me to ask - just want to find out how miserable I should be! Fortunately our unconnected, non-priorty, smart, well-rounded DS with good recs can stay happily where he is..................

We were rejected too-applied for K as well and got rejected.....should have not even bothered!

Almost everyone else I know got waitlisted.

And I disagree-I thought the rejection letter was rude and cold-just like the admissions staff!

my boy was waitlisted at Potomac for 1st

my boy was also waitlisted for 1st grade. Did you have a parent interview? We did not and I wonder if that had anything to do with it...
