| I want to spend the day with DD somewhere out of the house, but we have been very cautious with covid and don’t want to be anyplace too crowded. Any ideas for fun things to do? We’ve done lots of hikes this past year, so I’m trying to think of other options. We’re in NWDC and willing to drive about 60-75 minutes outside of the city. Thanks! |

Sandy Springs Adventure Park?
Or walk around and get ice cream and take out food someplace that would be fun/different? (All I can think of is downtown Bethesda -- not that exciting but teens seem to like it). During the week, it seems pretty empty though. If you wait a bit, you could do canoeing or paddle boating at Seneca Creek Lake park (don't think the boathouse is open yet). |

I don’t live in DC anymore but where I am mini-golf places /
driving ranges are open and my teen sons and I have enjoyed that. We also do a lot of tennis (we aren’t great players it’s just been one COVID safe activity that we found we enjoyed). |

I just took an afternoon off and walked around Alexandria with my girl teens. Got sandwiches and ate outside and window shopped as well as browsed a couple of stores (double masked). It was a nice change of scenery.
We have also visited the Visionary Arts museum in Baltimore which has timed tickets and low density. The art if pretty accessible and we all enjoyed getting out. |
| Are the sculpture gardens in DC open? |

Sandy spring adventure park is a great idea! We did it and it felt very covid safe.
