South Shore Elementary School in Crownsville

Does anyone have feedback on this particular school? Does anyone know what people tend to do for JH/HS in that area?

Ive heard really good things about the school. The kids there currently feed to Old Mill Middle and High Schools, and it’s actually very common for the kids to go into both of those, but the problem is that they’re both super far away from Crownsville. There is word that South Shore and Millersville ES will likely get redistricted to Arundel High School when the Old Mill West boundary study happens, also a very good school.

I have also heard that that area will get redistricted to Arundel High School now that the Crofton kids are going to be out of Arundel. Annapolis HS may also be a possibility for them, but that’s much less likely because Annapolis over capacity while Arundel has a lot of room and is fairly close to Crownsville.

OP here, that’s great news. I was shocked when I googled how far away Old Mill HS was from Crownsville. I posted on the Real Estate forum but if anyone has feedback on living in Crownsville I’ll take it. Thanks!
