RIT?

Anyone have any experience with or knowledge of this school?

Kid is considering engineering as a major but whatever he ends up choosing, he will want to do something technical. I could see him doing something design related too.

Went there. It was good for me, female. There are not a lot of girls. It is very hands-on and career oriented. Small class size was a plus and humanities classes were fine. It is a niche product, I would definitely have your DC speak with a current student. If your student is ready to launch into relationships with current employers (some of whom are not FANGs) then RIT is great school.

Rochester. But both actually. He’s mainly looking at technical schools. Very strong math and science student. He got an 800 on his math sat.

Great school. DS is a junior. Strong internships in Rochester, great faculty. DS has a nice group of friends there.

DS got a suprise rejection from there when accepted at other schools that were more of a reach. They offered him a different major but DS declined.
