Can someone explain to me what this means:
“ RICHMOND, VA (March 24, 2021) – The ECNL Boys is excited to announce a new relationship with the Virginia Premier Soccer League (VPSL) to license the league as an official ECNL Regional League for the 2021-22 season. Nine clubs from the VPSL will be competing in the inaugural season of the ECNL Regional League – VPSL: Great Falls Reston, Prince William Soccer, Richmond Kickers, Richmond Strikers, Tidewater Sharks, Stafford Soccer, Vienna Youth Soccer, Villarreal Virginia Academy and Virginia Soccer Association. In addition, two new clubs will join the ECNL Regional League – VPSL this fall: Fredericksburg FC and Virginia Legacy. “Welcoming high-level clubs into the ECNL Boys Regional Leagues has become a major focus for our league,” said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. “Virginia has always been a hot-bed for soccer and the VPSL has consistently driven competition levels and player development higher every year. Our relationship with the VPSL aligns great clubs and leadership within the ECNL pyramid, in a highly competitive environment that will provide a tremendous experience and, ultimately, will serve as a ‘proving ground’ for future ECNL Club Competition consideration.” What the junk is ECNL RL? |
| So VA Legacy, SOCA and Fredericksburg FC are leaving CCL? CCL is on the ropes. |
Only parents of the talentless or ECNL employees care about this garbage. Absolutely insane people in Richmond. This kind of behavior may be acceptable among girls soccer parents, but is counterproductive among boys soccer parents. |
| Arlington? |
| Why did this need an all-caps post title? |
| What about Arlington and Loudoun. Wouldn’t make sense for them to play ecnl regional teams in nc and sc. Figured they would be part of the Virginia region. Totally weird. |
Copy paste |
You mad? |
No. Just repulsed. |
Bottom of class at VCU. Or Wisconsin. |
| I'm surprised a lot of those NPL teams wanted to become subservient to the full fledged ECNL teams. A few I can understand, but most I don't get. |
| This is either the end or the transition out of ECNL for the struggling BRYC boys |
What does this have to do with bryc? |
There will eventually be pro/rel between them |
Some clubs have both an ECNL and ECNL-R team. At least in Carolina they do it that way. Not sure how pro/rel would work with that setup. |
