The more startling statistic is how often these kids play….which is very rarely. This is not unusual at the upper echelon colleges - D1 recruit CHRVA kids generally play at lower tier universities (as in regular court time), only the true top talent in the region see the court at the top tier (and you can probably count on the fingers of one hand how many D1 recruits from this area see regular court time mid/top tier universities). Statistics are available on websites - quite eye opening). |
Considering St. James for my DS. Why do you think it’s “phenomenal,” PP? |
Gjnc 14-15u. After 3 days. Chrva region a long way to go.

They do, until they all leave and go to Metro and Paramount in 16s year.. |
got it. Also, what numbers should I play in the lottery? Clearly you can predict the future. |
In this case, past performance IS an indicator of the future. Happens every year |
Re VAJrs commits — where is this info coming from & is it actually correct?

Can you name a few? My daughter did Mojo this year (first year) and we were not particularly satisfied with the program. Owners weren't receptive to some parental feedback about the college coaches. When a parent complained, the owner forwarded the email directly to the college coach and then the player was personally impacted the remainder of the season. I know Mojo is not a great program but it was a decent starting spot. Wondering if there's something in between Mojo & VA Elite. |
I feel bad for the parents of these girls. Is Metro always have this kind of injuries? |
What’s Mojo? |
I think they might have been thinking of other class years. From looking at their Instagram, looks like VA Juniors has 2024 D1 commits to Georgia State, Iona, and Robert Morris. They also had 2024 players that committed to Bucknell and UMBC that no longer are shown as playing for VA Juniors - perhaps decided to play somewhere else for 18s after committing. I can't find any mention anywhere of a recent UVA or JMU commit, for 2024 or 2025. |
Sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience with MOJO. Are you looking for clubs that travel more or less than MOJO? They are a good example of a club that charges pretty high fees (their top 15s, 16s, and 17s are almost $6k), travels a decent amount but aren't necessarily the most successful, both in their placing at tournaments and in recruiting results. |
What is MOJO? |
