A DC championship would also end SJC’s incessant chanting that they are “still number one until someone beats them” (when they’re a totally different team from last year).

Who is chanting?

Sounds like sour grapes from GP. Bullis gets their shot at SJC. GP ducked a head-to-head vs. SJC so now they need Bullis or Gonzaga to knock off SJC. It could happen. Also, SJC still has to run the WCAC table & scheduled tougher out of conference opponents than GP. That's why SJC continues to get more national recognition. Good luck to both teams!

Prep has performed better on the national stage this year than SJC has this Spring... just stop relying on last year's team to justify your current ranking.

GP's body of work this spring has been very impressive.

Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse determine rankings. The idea that last year has anything to do with current rankings is untrue.
Clearly, your post tennis Chardonnay at Columbia has you thinking too much. Have some water, and relax.

US High School Lacrosse rankings for this week have Prep #8 and SJC #12.

I prefer these rankings as they don't include the boarding schools that have PGs or kids who have re-classified 1 or 2x.

Everyone knows Prep is better than SJC this year, even the rankings. It's just the SJC boosters who are holding on to the past.

Prep v SJC would be a good game. Maybe it will happen. Those of you complaining about the DC championship game and "who wouldn't want to win that".....the game was being played after SJC's school year had ended. I believe a bunch of their players were at beach week (in my day, you went all 4 years) Try getting them back for that game. Especially after you won the WCAC and went wire to wire at 19-0. Happens all the time in MD public schools where teams lose most if not all their seniors in the first and second round due to "senior week" happening as the playoffs start.

Think SJC v Bullis is streaming tonight. Start says 7pm so I am going to assume its at Bullis as all three SJC fields have no lights.

Potomac beating STA 4-3 at the half.

Let’s go NIL for them then. Pay em to play and see if they wait to go to beach week. 100/50/25/10 for top 4 schools.

Potomac 8-4 over STA at start of the 4th. Both teams looked terrible.

STA eeks out a win over Potomac.

STA came back in 4th and pulled off a win in OT. Nothing to be proud of, both teams looked like JV at best.

Score of Dematha v Gonzaga. I’m hearing Dematha won. If so that is big time and really puts Gonzaga in a bad spot.
