Bacne, when are you going to leave me forever?

I do not break out on my face or anywhere else. The only spot? (and I say spot lightly) Is my back. It's everywhere. Not just a few here and there but a full blown out storm of acne. It is disgusting. I don't know what is causing it. I have tried different shampoos and conditioners, thinking it might be causing my clogged pores...but nothing has let up...Anyone have this or know how I can fix it?

I would consider talking to the dermatologist about Accutane.

I used it in my 30's and it cured my terrible, cystic acne.

I also have horrific bacne (both cystic and vulgaris) and would love ideas.

any suggestions other than Accutane (used it in college and not excited about using it again) or benzoyl peroxide (bleaches clothes, sheets and towels, and that's what's in ProActiv)?

What do you wash your back with?

I wash my back with my glycolic acid face wash as the final step in my shower. When I am diligent about this, my back stays pretty clear.

Try Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub and/or body Wash. it has Salicylic Acid and works like a charm (for some!)
