HIPAA clarification question

I know moderation has been interesting lately, and I totally understand if you don't have the bandwidth to consider this, or if it's just not a good idea for other reasons. Just thought I would ask.

HIPAA comes up a lot, and there are more misunderstandings about what it does and does not cover than there are people who understand it in Health & Medicine Forum. Would you consider a sticky that gives information directly from the US government HIPAA FAQ list, with a link to the actual website? I think it might save some misunderstandings in discussion, including derailments.

I also know you are trying to minimize stickies, in part because they become part of the background and aren't very effective. I was thinking it would be bette rin a discussion to reference the sticky instead of derailing the thread.
