| I’m eligible and have appointments available. Should I get it? I’ve messaged my doctor’s office through MyChart but don’t expect to hear from them until Monday. |

I personally wouldn't. I would hold off until after the transfer.
But disclaimer that I have autoimmune issues. |
| Personally, I would wait. Assuming you’re not an essential worker with likely exposure. If you can hunker down I would do that instead of the vaccine this close to a transfer. |
| I have a transfer on April 7th. Planning to get the vaccine before only if I can get the J&J vaccine more than a week before hand. |
| What does your RE say? I’d follow what they say versus an anonymous board. |
From the OP: “I’ve messaged my doctor’s office through MyChart but don’t expect to hear from them until Monday.” |
| I would be concerned about the timing of the 2nd shot around the time of FET. Not based on any known science, just personally that there are so many unknowns about what makes a transfer work and the possibility of fever/inflammation/exhaustion around the time you'd be hoping for implantation. |
| I scheduled my first dose for four days after my first beta following my FET. Didn’t want to risk any side effects like fever that would prevent me from going for monitoring and risk canceling the cycle. |

I am not a doctor. But I think the first dose tomorrow 9 days ahead of FET would be okay
For the second dose, Pfzier's 3 weeks window place it around 4/10, only 10 days after FET. Moderna's 4 weeks' window place it around 4/17, 17 days after FET. That is a bit close for my comfort. CDC says second dose of both vaccines could be scheduled up to 6 weeks after the first dose, and that is what I am recommending if you have to get the first dose tomorrow. see second dose section at https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/info-by-product/pfizer/index.html Good luck. |
