Dont register after the deadline or they may place you on a team that may not be near your school or with school friends.

This the best tip I was given in kindergarten. Ds played with all of his friends in his class. Then we could see he actually had some talent before we switched to travel and travel $. And he still plays with his school friends when he can.

But MSI is parent coached (usually fine for 6!) If you're looking more, possibly brit-am. Others can tell you if its parent coached or paid coach for 6. There is a recent thread with more options. Just search msi.
