Love the fast and frees for cardio, HIIT, running, or anything else. For me it's most importantly comfortable and thin enough for a person who runs hot all the time, supportive, but is also flattering.
That said, the line is expensive AF. I have tended to find it worth it because I will wear them to really work out hard and not just look cute, but was wondering if anyone knows of any good knockoffs that compare. Have you tried any other activewear bottoms that feel like a sibling of the F&F... but is more affordable? |
| Following. Love the fast and frees. |
| They aren't a perfect dupe but the Victoria's Secret sport leggings (I think mine are the incredible essential in black) work well for me for running and HIIT. I don't love them as much as my lululemons, but when they go on sale for $30 or less they are worth picking up. |

I am not familiar with the lulu ones however I have several 90 degree/yogalicious brand shorts and leggings and very happy with them.

Check out CRZ Yoga on Amazon. I am a huge LuluLemon and Sweaty Betty fan and I'm now addicted to these leggings at less than $30 a pop:
https://www.amazon.com/CRZ-YOGA-Waisted-Workout-Leggings/dp/B0813G9HK3 I have them in three colors and just ordered the purple for spring because why not? The fabric is cool and slick and weightless and the coordinating bra tops and tanks are pretty cute too. I normally buy a least one new pair of LL leggings plus a bra and a top or two each year, but haven't bought anything from them from last summer because I'm so happy with this much cheaper brand. And the quality holds up -- I wear leggings daily so everything gets washed a lot and they all still look good. I actually also have some of their microfleece leggings for winter time and will probably buy another for next year. I can't get enough and I'm afraid they are going to disappear or jack up their prices. |
| I love the fast and frees. Especially the thigh pockets. I have the 25 inch and just bought some 10 inch for summer. I also like the Colorfulkoala brand from Amazon. They are about $25/pair and pretty indistinguishable. I like CRZ yoga’s energy longline dupes too. Haven’t tried their tights but if they’re quality is anything like their bras, I would recommend. No need to pay Lulu prices. |

+1 I love CRZ stuff!! These are pretty much fast and frees at 1/5 of the price. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MNZWFGL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 these were recommended to me when I had quality issues with my fast and frees. The fast and free quality has gone way down. I bought 2 pairs of fast and frees a few months apart. One online and one in the store. The seam came undo on the first pair the third time I wore them. I figured it was a fluke so exchanged them at the store. Then the same thing happened to the second pair within a few weeks. Seam coming part was in in two totally different spots so not due to how I wore them. I have an older pair of fast and frees I have had for over 3 years. |
Ooooh I may give these a try, thanks ladies! Any thoughts on sizing? I wear a solid 6 in all fast and frees. Would you go with a small or medium? |
If you order the ones I linked above I would probably go with the medium. I found they run a little on the smaller size. let me know what you think. I honestly cannot tell the difference between these and the fast and free. |
Agree the quality of Lululemon has been dodgy the last couple years. I feel like they go through phases like this because they are really aggressive about manufacturing costs and will change the way a fabric is manufactured or move certain items to higher volume factories and you can tell. I see this issue more with LL than any of the other comparable brands -- I've never just randomly gotten poorly constructed garments at Athleta or Sweaty Betty, but it's happened multiple times at LL. It's frustrating because I also have items from there that are 10 years old and in great condition and just clearly very high quality. I've taken to mostly only buying things in-store so that I can look at them before I purchase. |
| I like Fast and Frees, but the ones I have tend to slip down a bit. Does that mean they're too big? |
yes |
I find I have to size down in the F&F. |
