Wondering if anyone is actually asking their children the questions on the Screener (eg do you have a new muscle aches) or if they’re just going through and clicking “no” unless their children tell them otherwise? Is anyone actually taking their kids temperature every morning? |
I have young kids, so I kiss their foreheads every morning anyways - and that's a pretty good proxy as to whether they feel warm or not. My kids let me know if they aren't feeling well, so I feel pretty well informed about their health status to fill it out without consulting them. Also, my kids are still of the age that they might "yes" if they think that's what I want to hear... |
Mine are 9 and 12. I just say, “everything feel fine today?” |
+1. Mine are the same ages, I just ask them how they’re feeling, and then sometimes use fever checks as an excuse to give them a kiss on the forehead. |
Nope. I fill mine out even before the kid (11) gets up.
Now if he woke up and felt bad he wouldn't go but the checklist is already filled out. Will do that for my HS kid too. |
We have a quick read thermometer. I check every morning before that. We also check before filling out sports questionnaire. |
