Womb chair

Anonymous
My parents have the original Womb Chair and it is ridiculously comfortable. Supposedly it's called the womb chair because it's as comfortable as being in the womb. Or some such thing. It is also ridiculously expensive. I'm not sure about the comfort of the knockoff version at Rove.

Not an attractive chair IMO.

I have one from Knoll with the matching ottoman.
I love it, it is about 15 yrs old in the neutral boucle.
Very comfortable.

I had a recent experience with Rove and I am not sure if I will use them again.
I bought a marble topped tulip oval dining table from Rove Concepts in January. It was delivered with out the bolts that attach the table top to the base. Delivery was like $450 and it was not "white glove" they brought the 2 crates in to my house and left them. When I contacted customer service about the assembly instructions and the missing bolts they told me they would send them and it would be 3-5 days. They never arrived. Fortunately my husband is handy and figured out the proper length bolts and washers at the hardware store and was able to assemble it. It was annoying to have this 250lb marble table top just on the floor in my house for a couple of days.

17 yrs ago I got a round tulip table from Knoll for a kitchen in a different house and their delivery and install was much better experience.

It’s ugly.

Not op, but I was wondering about the giant papasan chairs for my daughter's room. I think she'd love it since she's stuck here all day for school. How uncomfortable is it for reading or using a laptop?

OP here - thanks - I like the way it looks, but have never sat it one so wanted to make sure it was comfortable. I find many people who like this kind of furniture like it despite it being uncomfortable, but I want this as a reading chair - so I'd like it to be comfortable.

I like the look of it.

We have one with the ottoman. It’s my favorite place to sit.

I’m the pp, my apologies for being flippant. If you do like the aesthetic, this chair was made for you, and i bet you have the perfect way to work it into your decor. It makes a great reading chair. My friends have it in their main living room and the joke is that whoever sits in it, never wants to get out.

How does the comfort of the dup OP posted compare to the original?
Anonymous
I have the dup from Rove with the ottoman and it's my fams favorite reading spot in our LR. I wish I could afford the original, but it's a good quality piece of furniture and the fabric is lovely (got the blue cashmere/wool).
I'm happy with it.

I wouldn't commit to a high-end version of it, because I could see myself getting tired of it.
