What’s the best way to mask a horrible tasting liquid medication?

I usually do a full shot of chocolate syrup but even that doesn’t mask this medicine. I tried it, and my daughter isn’t fibbing. It still tastes gag-you gross. What else can I try?

Hold your nose, rinse with water and then brush your teeth.

Can you take it to a pharmacy and ask to add flavoring? We also had luck with syringing the meds in (not forcefully) and then giving the kid a chocolate truffle.

You just accept that it tastes terrible, and put it on a teaspoon or tablespoon, swallow it, and then shove bread or a cracker in your mouth.

I had to take a lot of awful medicine as a kid. It's just awful and you get through it, and 20 seconds later you're off playing.

Plug nose, eat a spoonful of strongly flavored yogurt or pudding (something thick to coat the tongue), then suck on a dove chocolate and unplug nose.

Worked for my extremely dramatic child who would gag and then throw up bad tasting medicine.
