IVF - Mature Eggs in 10 mm?

First time IVFer here, just been given the go ahead for a trigger shot. Based off all the reading I've done on this site, I don't have as many large follicles as others- maybe 5-6. Has anyone had luck retrieving mature eggs from 10mm follicles?

You are very unlikely to get mature eggs from follicles less than 14-16mm on the day of trigger unfortunately. I’ve seen people have only 4 eggs and get 3-4 blasts, so don’t get too caught up in the numbers even though I know it’s really hard.

Did they say why they are triggering now?

OP here No, I've been a very slow responder and am on day 14. My largest is 20.

Yeah unfortunately sometimes only a certain cohort take off, anything 10 or under is just not responding. Good luck!

No, 10mm is too small to have a mature egg, sorry.
