Would Love Opinions From Parents; Yay or Nay on Covid Vaccine Note on Care Profile?

Hi Parents,
I've been a longtime Care.com member and meet 90% of my families through the site. I've been fully vaccinated for four weeks and am wondering of it would be okay to add that in in my profile? I do want to say that I've had on my profile for awhile now that I'm up to date on flu shot/Tdap and MMR vaccines but my hesitation here is that obviously there are many who want/need to get vaccinated but haven't been able to, so don't want to seem insensitive. OTOH, I feel like it could definitely help work-wise. By the way, I AM aware that just because I'm vaccinated, it doesn't mean I can't contract or spread. I still wear a mask in every home outside of my own and take other necessary precautions. TIA! |

Yes, I'm an ad-hoc private sitter. I work for myself so its always great to have new families to meet. As I put in my post, my hesitation is that there will be folks who may feel it's insensitive to add when the vaccine isn't readily available for all. It doesn't help that while I have comorbidities, it's not 'obvious' and I'm in my 30s. I appreciate your response! |

| I'd figure out a way to say what you have shared here. You are vaccinated and will wear a mask (I think this is a good expectation to set for YOUR safety too) |

| Yes, list your vaccination status! I know several people who got their vaccinations earlier because they volunteered at vaccination sites. Being vaccinated doesn’t mean you have underlying health issues. |

I just spent 30 minutes writing to people asking about their vaccination status.
Absolutely, list it! (Also, do you want to babysit my 2 and 6 year olds? We--the parents--are also vaccinated.) |
