| Has anyone done an ivf cycle at Cornell in the past year? What was the cost out of pocket ? |
| I cycled there about 5 months ago. It was about $17,000. The cycle with ICSI was about $16,000. NYP, where the retrieval is performed, adds a $1000 “facility fee” which I thought was absurd. |
| Out of curiosity, who is your doctor at Cornell? |
Dr Davis |

I also just did this with dr Davis. My results so far have been worth it- much better number of ev
eggs, mature eggs and embryos with less fragmentation. I did coculture and fresh transfer. Waiting on results but incredibly impressive treatment. They do require you now to be in tristate for duration and won’t do remote monitoring due to covid/hospital rules. Upside hotel rates are much better and negotiated a very good deal in Brooklyn. Good luck and highly recommend. |
| I just had a consult with Dr Davis today and feeling very optimistic. He said they are allowing local monitoring now, so I was hoping someone could speak to that, but I guess that's a very recent change to their set up. But glad to hear others have found their experiences to be positive! |

I did ivf at Cornell precovid. He didn't help me, but that might just be my medical situation. Local monitoring is really only in the beginning (baseline and maybe 1 monitoring after that), and then they want you to come up to NY.
I went to SGF and there were pretty efficient about sending the results to Cornell. Going to NY wasn't that bad for me, because I stayed with friends. |
Curious to know the cost for a consult out of pocket? Thanks |
$650. I sent all my previous records to him beforehand, very thorough hour-long conversation. |
