Private preschools lost a lot of students to DCPS in the last few years. Thanks to the pandemic, I imagine private preschool is more in demand this year, so you’re unlikely to be the only one rejected. Did you ask to be notified if spots open up in future? Sometimes they open up even in June, after the contract binding date.

Sorry to hear your news...if any consolation, our DC was accepted and we will be declining the acceptance for another school. Hopefully this opens up one spot for you!
