Winchester School

I’d love to hear about your child’s/your experience with the Winchester School. Posts about this school are 5+ years old, so would appreciate hearing more recent experiences. Thanks!

I would be really concerned about them today but talk to current families. We had a great experience years ago but that director and staff left. The owner passed and another family member took over and brought in a new director. From what it looks like that director also left and the majority of the teachers that many of us went for left. When we were there, they had very stable long term staff. I really hope they turned it around but would be hesitant if its under the direction of that family member.

With that said, they prepared my child well. They had more of an academic component starting at age 4, which was really helpful.

I don't know anything about the new director but looking at the website she may have left. The old director was fantastic. The fact she left was my concern. Sorry i didn't clarify that. My other concern is that they had some very long term stable staff happy there with no intention of leaving and they left (not retirement/moving away situations). I have seen some good reviews from after we left on other groups but nothing within the last two years.
