| We are deciding whether to go with the senior doctor in the clinic vs. the junior doctor. The dates work out better for the junior doctor, so I am inclined to go with him |
|
Is it something you’re going to beat yourself up about if you go with the junior doctor and it doesn’t work?
Do you have any anatomical anomalies? Long cervix, tilted uterus, etc? |
| I’ve never seen anything suggesting this. I know difficult transfers have lower odds of success, but I believe that is more related to patient anatomy. A transfer is a really simple procedure that even a resident/fellow should be able to do. |

The skill of the doctor actually does matter. Here’s an article about that:

| I have no facts or statistics to share, but I will say, at my clinic, my RE told me he believes the transfer is the most important part and he does the transfer for all of his patients and won’t assign it to another doctor. |
