SY 20-21 OSSE Enrollment Data

The SY20-21 OSSE Enrollment data is out. How do schools like Capital Village and Social Justice keep their doors open with only 40-50 students? Weren't they supposed to have 90-100 in their first years?

Interesting to see headcount down at some "popular" WOTP schools. Key is down by 30. Lafayette by 38. Deal is up by 5. Do DCPS get their allocations by people in seats or is that just charters?

SWS only has 12 5th graders? Do people go back to their home schools for a SH feeder? Or do their kids get that lucky with BASIS, Latin?

I bet you $1000 that some of the people who like to pop off about J.O. and LT's upper grades being abandoned by UMC (read "white" families) are at SWS. Too funny!!

No, they don't return to their home schools for a SH feeder. Not worth it.

They do it by cutting their budget. They don't need as many teachers, so it works out. For one year. Not sure about the long term.
