Can anyone provide more info on SWW? I know Seaton is a great ES with focus on justice, new playground, and strong academics (esp math) but no viable MS option. How does SWW Elementary compare? I can't find anything similar re SWW academics, staff, etc on here and don't know anyone attending there. This would be for a K spot and both are OB for us. Thanks.
While my kids don't attend SWW anymore, they did PK3 though K there until we moved and we loved it. Very diverse, an incredibly caring staff and some of the greatest teachers I have encountered. FWIW we were there at the beginning of the "clean house" that happened after DCPS had threatened to close it --from 2014 to 2017. I believe Trogisch managed to recruit some rockstar teachers, but I know several of them left for different reasons, but the ladies in that cafeteria are the closest to a caring grandmother that I have ever seen!
We have a kid in middle school a SWW@FS and agree with PP. Great experience there, diverse student body, responsive administration, happy with the teachers.
