Yup. The boys side of the ledger looks very good, esp. w/ commits to 4 Ivies and Gtown.

You have to wonder how much of their future with a stronger academic school they gave up to play at an average academic school.

Good for those who were able to get both soccer and a good academic school. Happens is every sport

I think the academic caliber of students probably has a lot to do with this, and variance with such small samples year over year will be high. If you are depending on the identity of the club to push you over the edge at MIT, you don’t know what’s ahead for your kids and you don’t understand the admissions process at all. It’s literally like you are trying to read somebody else’s tea leaves to figure out how to get your kid into a good school.

Continue??????????????????????????????????????????? WTH are you talking about. I was wondering when the loser McLean parent was going to make another appearence. I was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with your disinfo again Fooseball.

Please use google and look at the Class of 2019. It's just as good as any club, anywhere in the past 10 years. Nor is any club going to continue that kind of D1 productivity year after after, with perhaps FCV being the exception. If you want to say however Bethesda is losing talent, then McLean should be added to that conversation. Loudoun has never had a graduating class the like of McLean, Bethesda, FCV or Maryland United. For that matter, Arlington or Metro Untied never have and never will either.

Bottom line the best pathways to mid major and higher D1 schools are:
1. FCV
2. MD United
3. McLean
4. Bethesda
5. VDA
6. Followed by everybody else.

Don't believe anything you read on these forums. It's just a bunch of loser parents throwing shade at other clubs that they know nothing about, using only "here-say" to back up their claims.

Tools. All of you.

Chill, dude. I think the point of the overall post was to illuminate college commitments from one club, which is objective information. So, putting all parents in the same bucket - including the one who posted the link - is a significant overreach on your part. I look at the link that was posted quite simply, which is to say good on the kids who are making the most of their academic and soccer opportunities. BSC seems to have a pretty good track record with their older age groups. I'm sure other clubs have had success, too.
