DS is taking professional private senior photos to keep some sense of normalcy. Other than the tuxedo drape, we are not sure what new clothing styles to purchase for him.
Please help! Thank you in advance. |
| Shirt and tie. Don’t over think this. |
| DS wore an slim fit oxford style shirt, open neck/no tie, for professional outdoor photos. |

Nothing new:
-graduation tux provided by them -graduation gown provided by them -khaki pants, belt and a blue button up -soccer uniform |
| My 2 sons wore a shirt, jacket and tie (basic head shot). Their school didn’t do the tuxedo look. I had no interest in the extra curricular photos like sport uniforms, holding your trumpet or one with the dog. Depends on how much you want to spend |
Soccer uniform? That cracks me up because my son is a swimmer. No way will he be getting a professional photo in a speedo!!🤣 |
thank you! |
| Every senior boy photo I’ve ever seen was taken outside, usually in a collared shirt/no tie |
Yep, khakis, collared shirt no tie. Musical instrument was in a few, but it is a huge part of who he is. His younger sister was in a couple and I’m glad to have a nice picture of the two of them before he left for college. . |
| I know this seems like a big deal, but fast forward a decade later and this photos are in the back of the closet. Just my experience. |
| Are these self-hired professional photos, or the ones through the school (which I know is still a professional photographer)? If the former, ime kids wear a dressy outfit like collared shirt and khakis for a boy, and they take some in more casual clothes too incl college sweatshirt if that has been decided. If the school sponsored photos, the tux drape or shirt and tie. |
My siblings and my HS grad photos still hang in our parents house and we and our kids love looking at them! I hope they bring my parents some joy, too
