Do you replace the filter on your dyson?

| I’ve had this vacuum a bit over a year. Sometimes the thing pulses. So I wash the filter. This last time, it started pulsing again within a day. Are you supposed to replace that purple filter? |

| Youtube cleaning it or just order a replacement for amazon. The whole unit should be cleaned every few months including the canister and brushes. |
