I don't know of anywhere in VA but I can recommend Dr. Shu in Georgetown. She came recommended by a friend and is a great professional - specializes in menstral/fertility/etc.

Dr Gao near GW Univ on 24th St. Comprehensive Health Clinic I believe her practice is called. Lots of fertility patients and very nice

Does Dr. Gao do herbs/TCM for fertility?

Yes I'm seeing her now. She does TCM and accupuncture and cupping also, which I actually like. For me, the TCM is tea form, as I prefer it (hate swallowing pills), but she also will give pills if you prefer. I've been to a few different accupuncturists and like her the best. She was in Washingtonian a few yrs ago on one of their "best of" lists

I went to Dr. Arthur Fan. I'm not sure what your condition is but I have PCOS. I saw my gyno on a Friday and she told me that "we will assume you are NOT ovulating so you will need to take clomid to begin ovulation when you are ready." I didn't want to take that for an answer so I saw Dr. Fan the next day. Miraculously, I am now pregnant. I actually think I got pregnant after the first session though I have been to about 6 and have been taking the herbs he prescribed.

I also recommend Dr. Arthur Fan in Tyson's. I started to go weekly about a month before retrieval and continued until my BFP through my 1st IVF. I have had multiple miscariages so I am continuing to go weekly through the 1st trimester.
