Ford in NY

Anonymous
Harold Ford wrote in a NY Times op-ed piece (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/02/opinion/02ford2.html) that he has decided not to run against Senator Gillibrand: "I refuse to do anything that would help Republicans win a Senate seat in New York, and give the Senate majority to the Republicans." But his piece struck me as an attempt to do everything he could to undermine her. What do you think?

I think that I also will announce my intention not to run for the Senate in New York. I wonder if the Times will run my Opt-Ed?

Aha! You're clearing your schedule for the run against Fenty, right?

Oh no. I will soon be announcing my intention not to run against Fenty. I expect the Post to print my Op-Ed. In fact, there are a great number of offices for which I don't intend to run. So many Op-Eds to write!
