Washable rugs: alternatives to Ruggable?

Anonymous
Anybody have one of the machine-washable rugs sold on Overstock, like nuLoom or My Magic Carpet? I'm not excited by any of Ruggable's design choices and I am sort of excited about the idea of a washable rug that doesn't need a separate unwashable backing. I'm tempted to try this one: https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/nuLOOM-Amber-Machine-Washable-Floral-Aztec-Area-Rug/32887927/product.html Any other brands I should consider?

No, but also interested in this.

Ordered a ruggable but it's like crinkle paper to walk on it. The Velcro that attaches the pad to the cover is SO loud. I had to return it.

Interesting! I had wondered about the velcro situation. (OP)

We have not had that issue with ruggable. I quite like it.

Rugs USA has a bunch. You can check out reviews.
I was contemplating buying one but the size wasn’t quite big enough for what I needed

OK! Since it's hardly a major investment, I think I'll go for it. I'll report back after the senior hounds have had their way with it. – OP

I have smaller ruggables in my kitchen and entryway and am really pleased with them.

I've been wanting to try a ruggable, but the size is still too small. Apparently you either love them or hate them.
I am willing to give them a chance.

+1. My ruggables don’t crinkle.

I haven’t had issues with “crinkle” with my ruggable.

Anyone try the new thicker rug pad by Ruggable. I have one of the older thinner ones and it’s not very comfortable on the feet.

I bought several rugs from ruggable and loved everyone. Unfortunately when I did have an issue, ruggable failed to step up and take care of the issue. Granted the rig itself was out of warranty, but i think my issue ( failure of the pad) should if been quickly resolved. They lost me as a customer from then on.

Product is good it post sale support lacking. I would not recommend continuing to buy....

I got two ruggables about a month ago and so far so good. But I agree with OP on the design selection. I am not in love with the looks of these rugs but with a big messy puppy, I need these for now.

I recently bought a Hook & Loom rug and it looks great, is affordable. Haven't washed it yet.
