Place to board cats for summer

| We are undergoing a renovation this summer and will need to move out of our house for 8 weeks. We travelled with our cats last summer, but it was difficult to travel with them and it's proving impossible to find a place to rent this year that will allow cats. I would like to find a backup option to home our cats during those 8 weeks. Are there any places in the area that will board cats? Ideally in someone's home (or a room in their home) and not a kennel (I will not consider a kennel at all). |

| I know you said no kennels but look at Old Towne Pet Resort in Rockville. It's really nice with huge cat rooms right in the front with a giant cat tree. They have the two story cat condos and they you pay for various add-ons. It's the nicest space I've ever seen. |

Where are you located? You may want to look for a rental that allows pets. Maybe someone will have suggestions.
We did a short term apartment rental in Bethesda when we renovated and were able to keep our cats with us. |
